I liked the location. The hotel is old and lacks maintenance; the rooms have a moldy smell and my reservation was cancelled without my permission, forcing me to call the reservation center at Dan Inn for half an hour or more to resolve it over the phone.

The hotel sits in a very convenient spot, close to everything in the urban area, and the breakfast was excellent. The facilities overall need attention; although they are already quite old, some things could be renovated.

Only the location (in the center) is a plus. The facilities are very old, the room is old, there is no curtain on the window, no smart TV, no air conditioning, the bathroom is old, there is no shower head, water leaks from the sink onto the floor, it smells old, the room feels like some storage room for old items, there is extreme noise from below the window with staff going back and forth with some kind of cart, hitting a metal compartment hard, as it is an old mansion, it feels like a labyrinth with no sense, really bad. Also, although they advertise valet parking, the parking is far away, and the reception says the parking is right behind the hotel, parking is paid (30 reais).

The hotel improved a lot after the renovation, and the staff are attentive and polite. The bathrooms could use some improvement.
