Our host was wonderful, setting up the whole Tiger Leaping Gorge trek which we loved. The place feels like a cozy inn with the privacy of a hotel room, plus a handy kitchen, hot shower with heating lamp, and a heated blanket. Everything was spotless, quiet, and nicely decorated, and our bags were kept safe the whole time. Only downside: it's about a 20‑minute ride from the city centre.

Flora, the owner, was friendly and gave solid hiking advice, even driving us to the Tiger Gorge. The guesthouse sits a little uphill from Lijiang’s old town, which actually makes it quieter and more pleasant. There’s plenty to explore around Lijiang, so the location works fine for me.

The private rooms are very affordable, which is a big plus. The hostel itself was pretty quiet, probably because it was low season. Overall, decent value for the price.

Flora was a star – she guided us through every step of planning the Tiger Leaping Gorge outing and our stay in Lijiang. The room is quirky yet clean and comfortable, and it’s only a short walk from the Ancient Town. I’d recommend this place without hesitation.
