At La Ruh Achari I felt extraordinary, like at grandma’s home; I wasn’t a guest, I felt part of the family. The house is charming, authentic, and tastefully made. Arzu is an extraordinary woman who took care of me like a son. I left with a lot of positive energy from this place. I only recommend.

The property is beautiful and charming, well managed, and the breakfast is fresh and organic, though a little more variety would have been nice.

The ancient house has been seriously restored and renovated while preserving its authenticity; it sits near an old Albanian church that now serves as a museum. The house is built from several parts with separate entrances. In the living area there are three separate rooms, each with its own bathroom and shower. There is a guest room with a large dining table, a seating area with board games, and a coffee and tea preparation zone. Outside the guest room, in the courtyard, there are two cozy corners with tables and chairs. The owner, Arzu, is a very nice woman who will tell you about the house and recommend special places nearby. There is also another amazing woman who prepares very tasty meals. I strongly recommend asking in advance for a package that will include honey because it is very, very tasty. And don’t be like me—book several nights in this magical place and you won’t regret it. The place was gorgeous, the garden a dream. The hosts were wonderful and friendly, made us feel right at home.

The spot has a pleasant vibe, a relaxing room with free coffee and a magical garden. It’s right in front of the Albanian church, and the owner goes out of her way to welcome guests. But GPS can’t find it—no sign—and the shower was a bit cramped.
