The location in Friedrichshain was great, with direct tram and U‑bahn connections, and the host responded to our report by refunding part of the amount hassle‑free. The room, however, was heavily dusty; my daughter, who is allergic to house dust, had breathing difficulties on the first night, forcing us to leave at 1:30 am and book another hotel on short notice. Anyone sensitive to dust should check beforehand.

The place is within walking distance of everything, including the U‑bahn, and the neighborhood feels cozy and safe. The room was spotless, the fridge handy, and the showers clean; the bed was very comfortable. Earplugs are handy because you can easily hear people in other rooms or outside the window. The room lighting could be arranged better, and the shower ran out of soap, but these are minor inconveniences.

The breakfast café was great, the location superb, the courtyard room very quiet, very clean, and the U‑bahn connection to U‑5 was close by. Unfortunately there was no reading lamp—only harsh ceiling light—so I bought a headlamp. The fridge in the room was loud, so I unplugged it.

Excellent location and cozy beds! The shared facilities were well equipped. A small suggestion: add a mirror in the room.
