Come gli ospiti valutano la struttura, aspetto per aspetto.
The staff are pleasant, the price‑performance ratio is good, and the location is top. However, there was no soap or towel in the room; towels can be rented for about 3 € and the bed linen must be taken off and sorted into a bin.

The establishment is committed to sustainable development. The breakfast items are excellent, high quality, with honey from a local beekeeper, and there’s no excessive packaging—many hotels could learn from this. Nothing else noteworthy.

The place is very well positioned in the city centre, the welcome was friendly, the value for money is excellent, and the breakfast is simple but features high‑quality homemade products.

The youth hostel is in the hyper‑centre of Pontarlier, the rooms are fully renovated with a shower and toilet in the room, a large common room is available, and there’s parking at the back of the building. It’s very quiet and great. The breakfast is very good. Note that hikers on the GR5/GTJ routes will find the reception closed from 12 pm to 5 pm.

We loved the hostel’s sustainable approach. At breakfast everything was in bulk, homemade covers, etc., and it was delicious. The bar offers local drinks, including beers from a local brewery that were very good. The front‑desk staff were super friendly. We arrived during a heatwave and felt hot, and the Wi‑Fi signal was weak in the room.
