The restaurant’s quality is high, the staff are professional, the setting is magical, and the plant-based options are excellent. I had booked, unless I’m mistaken, the suite with a jacuzzi bathtub for a rest after my motorcycle trip. I received a nice room with a spacious shower, though no jacuzzi.

The exterior is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. The interior doesn’t reflect the exterior charm or historic character. There is no proper coffee machine in the bedroom. The room is small, the curtain design prevents the windows from opening properly, there is no air‑conditioning, and the new sockets lack USB ports. The TV is old and poorly positioned. Hanging clothes is difficult. The soap dispensers are flimsy or poor. Dinner in the evening was nice but overpriced; dessert was weak.

Excellent new hotel, high standard, very quiet stay. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately the air‑conditioning did not work in any of the hotel rooms, but we managed with a fan in September.
