The house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, Michael was a super host, and the breakfast was amazing.

The breakfast was exceptional, felt very personal and bespoke, well thought through, the options and execution were perfect, Michael put a lot of thought into providing a delicious and fresh breakfast, the B&B was lovingly decorated throughout, each room full of character, and the extra touches to bring the season to life were lovely; we loved everything.

Michael’s place is incredible, with meticulous detail everywhere. Parking was easy and walking into Matlock Bath or Matlock itself was convenient, and his dinner tips were spot on. Breakfast was delightful, and the view over the river and cliff was unforgettable. Highly recommend staying here!

Heathbank House B&B is a gem, and Michael is outstanding! From booking onward he was super attentive, offering plenty of local spot suggestions. Breakfast was tasty, and the house’s restoration beautifully preserves its historic charm. We stayed two nights for our anniversary; Michael even sent us a card and a bottle of wine—thoughtful and beyond what we expected. The small touches truly matter, and the hospitality and house were flawless. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it!
