The property sits at the end of a small dirt road only reachable by Tuk‑tuk or motorbike. It’s charming, clean and well maintained; the owners welcomed us with a delightful King Coconut upon arrival. The room was tidy and orderly, though a few extra ants appeared in the bathroom, which is understandable given the lush surroundings.

Set deep in nature with many monkeys as neighbors, yet close to the main road, the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were very friendly, making you feel like visiting aunt and uncle. At my request, she prepared a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast that was so plentiful she packed me something for lunch. It was far tastier than any hotel breakfast I’ve had before, which usually consisted of toast and jam. To keep the monkeys from stealing my food, I was allowed to dine in their dining room. The accommodation was a bit hard to locate; it lies on a very narrow path only accessible by Tuk‑tuks, which felt a little spooky at night when I was traveling alone, but luckily the walk is short and the neighbors are all very nice.

Perfectly located on a small street (walkable, scooter, or Tuk‑tuk) just steps from Turble Bay, between Coconut Tree Hill and Parrot Rock. Ideal for a few days in Mirissa. The room was clean, had a small terrace and a clothesline, and offered great value for money.
