The spot is great, and the room and bed are in good shape, but the room still smells like Indonesian clove cigarettes even though it's listed as a non‑smoking room on the floor.

It’s a quiet, old building that’s well maintained; I love the location, only a 10‑minute walk to the Grand Mall and other amenities, and the room is clean with friendly staff, so far so good.

The breakfast surprised me with its wide variety and value, and the room was comfortable even though the décor and furniture feel a bit old; overall the experience surpassed my expectations, and the location is a bonus, just a 3‑4 minute walk to Batam Grand Mall and easy access to everything.
