The balcony view was fantastic, especially for watching the sunrise, which was perfect. It’s a bit further out, so it’s quieter than in Ella town, and the view of the train tracks was lovely. Having a mini‑fridge in the room is uncommon in Sri Lanka. Sampath was great, helping us arrange a tuk‑tuk to Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery, a highlight, and also arranging a nice taxi driver named Madu for our onward trip to Kandy.

You can watch the sunrise from the room. Walking to Ella town is a bit far.

The staff at this place are incredibly helpful and super friendly. You really feel welcome! The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared in the morning and served in your room, plus the beautiful view over Ella—pure enjoyment. We had a wonderful stay here. 100 % recommend!
