I had to book a room at the last minute in Jakarta because my usual place was fully booked, the room smelled like a mix of cigarette smoke and a strong chemical air freshener, it was dirty, and the walls were covered with what looked like insect or larvae cocoons that the staff hadn’t cleaned; despite the low price I stayed for one night but would not choose this place again or recommend it.

The place was comfortable, but the TV channel couldn’t connect.

The bathroom was filthy, dust settled on the edge of the bed, and the staff were not friendly at all; trash was strewn across the corridor, and when a guest checked in at 3 am and was assigned the wrong room, the staff did nothing about it and just told me “mau gimana lagi”; overall comfort was severely lacking, and I couldn’t find anything I liked.

The internet worked fine, but the walls in the room were dirty, there were almost no windows, the bathroom was both dirty and smelly, and the hotel itself looked like an unfinished construction site.
