The breakfast was exceptional, and the chef even fetched black pudding on my request and served it exactly as I liked; the location was ideal for the tram in and out of town, which my wife and I used daily. A longer stay would have been nice.

I’m thrilled we chose this place. The hosts are two genuinely nice guys who chat, joke, and always ensure everything runs smoothly with no problems. They’re helpful, sharing info about local events and sights, and they create a friendly, open atmosphere at breakfast where everyone sees each other, setting a great tone for the day. Breakfast was excellent: cereals, yoghurts, a full English with fresh tea, coffee, milk, and pure juices, and you could change your order just by asking – the guys made it feel effortless. The room was tidy, with thoughtful touches that show the hosts care about repeat guests: a mini‑fridge, mini‑ironing board and iron, a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar – all ready when you arrive. Highly recommended; a gem with fantastic hosts. Nothing was wrong at all.

Alfie gave a warm welcome 😽XX, and the hosts Adam and Phil were also quite friendly. Nothing was wrong – this is a great B&B, you won’t find a friendlier place.

The Sheron House on Gynn Avenue was the gold standard for my solo trip; its location is perfect—just a short walk from the lively centre but tucked in a quiet spot free from the evening bustle. Every detail feels thought out: the rooms have a proper fridge stocked with fresh milk, hot chocolate, and biscuits, and the whole place is pristine and brilliantly clean. The hosts, Adam and Phil, go beyond running a B&B—they welcome you like family, remember your name right away, and make you feel safe, comfortable, and included. Coupled with a brilliant morning breakfast, they nailed every single detail. I’ll definitely be back.
