It was my first time staying in a guesthouse, so I chose it to get acquainted with local life. The family is great, very friendly, and they gave us tips on locations and how to get around; the host is very hardworking. It was perfect for me: about a 20‑minute walk from the train station, 10‑15 minutes by bus to the green cape (where the beach is in the botanical garden) and also to the promenade. The house lets you escape the noise and crowds of tourists because it sits on a hill in a private area. It’s a 10‑minute walk to the beach from the house. The only issues were internet outages and hot water problems. Climbing the hill will be tough for older people.
