The staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect, but the room felt a bit tight – making tea or writing was tricky, the bed was a little soft, and maintenance could use some work, like fixing the basin plug, improving the shower, and getting better TV channel reception; an open‑air rooftop terrace or bar would also be a nice addition.

The central location and breakfast were good, but we asked for a non‑latex mattress and they ignored us, so when we arrived we were desperate to find a suitable mattress that wasn’t latex.
