The location was 5 ****, and the room was 3 *** (could be 4 **** with some improvements); overall it was good value for the spot. The communal room was a bonus. However, the towels were blue instead of white and the quality was average. Our room was number 2. At night, the people in room 3 played loud computer games and their TV blared well past 1‑2 am, so we got very little sleep, suggesting the walls are very thin. The communal room with a billiard table and eating amenities was handy, but the cleanliness could be much better. The heating control was missing (apparently stolen before but never replaced). The furniture was faded and showed its age, and the outdoor seating outside the rooms also showed wear and tear.

Alberto at reception was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating, even going out of his way to assist me with my car, for which I am very grateful. The room was super clean and offered great value for money, and it was lovely to be able to walk across the road to the beach.
