“Schönes Hotel mit Meerblick”
The room was very beautiful, and I highly recommend booking the B Suite with balcony and sea view—a large, stunning room. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I only suggest staying if you’re ready to drive about 40 minutes to Ostuni and Alberobello; you’ll see Taranto itself after an hour. The pool was in a bad state, hardly cleaned, and only the pool area itself was kept tidy by a robot each day. We didn’t use it because it didn’t look inviting. The old town is too far to walk; we had to drive every day, which was annoying because there were constant issues with entry and exit. The ticket barrier didn’t work properly, and the old town looked quite run down with little to see.
