“Lovely stay in Kinisaki onsen.”

The food was incredible and the staff were very attentive. The stay was clean and comfortable. I liked that I could use the private baths and bring an umbrella to town when it rained. Some of the baths were just small closed rooms and felt a bit claustrophobic. Others were spacious, which was good for families. If you’re not comfortable with stairs, it’s not for you. Walking to the private baths involved going down and up stairs with a low ceiling. I was right under the dining room, so I heard everything being set up for breakfast, so I chose to go for an early walk to some of the onsens in town.

The location, the private onsens (the best part), the room was very nice and had open‑air access to the main road. The bed was nicer than the other onsen I stayed at. It wasn’t as tranquil as I had assumed.

“Truly a trip to remember for forever”

It was amazing overall. I accidentally booked the biggest room there and it was the most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. Facilities were great and the private onsen was always clean and available. The staff were super accommodating. Eating vegetarian in the hotel or town was a little bit of a challenge, but I was never left hungry.
