“Abbiamo chiamato più volte per avere informazioni l’operatrice al telefono è stata molto sgarbata.”
The location was great, but the staff and the welcome were disappointing.

I only noticed that there were no blinds or shutters, which was a bit annoying.

It was absolutely unacceptable! We booked a room for three days and were told we would receive check‑in instructions on arrival day and that we should let them know our arrival time. We sent a message saying we would arrive between 18:00‑19:00. We never got any further check‑in info. Instead, at 17:01 we suddenly received a message saying we could not check in and that we would be on the street in theory. We still went to the location to try to resolve the issue. When we got there, there was no 24‑hour reception and no staff present (something that was listed in the accommodation description). By chance we met another guest who helped us and told us that you cannot check in on site and that you will receive a WhatsApp message with further instructions (the same info we had received after booking). We never received that message on arrival day, so we could not check in. We got the WhatsApp number from the friendly guest so we could contact them ourselves. We tried calling, chatting, and texting the WhatsApp number multiple times but got no response from the accommodation. Instead of the help you would expect from a 24‑hour reception, we were monitored by video surveillance and told to leave the premises. They threatened that otherwise the police would be called.

Nothing noteworthy, but the communication was very bad.

The place is strongly not recommended. I paid for the whole stay in advance. Even though the 17:00 arrival time was not a binding clause at booking, I was denied access to the room for only 14 minutes late (arrived at 17:14). The number given by the platform never answered my calls; I managed to reach a staff member through Google channels who tried to justify a blatant falsehood, claiming that "by law after 17:00 you cannot send documents to the police": a ridiculous excuse with no legal basis. Instead, the policy does not require sending documents via the "WhatsApp" platform as the manager did, which violates GDPR privacy regulations. Under the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679) and the Italian Privacy Authority directives, the Public Security law requires the manager to confirm guests' identity before accommodation: sending a simple photo on WhatsApp does not guarantee identity, as anyone could send a photo of another person's document. The manager showed total ignorance of the law on two fronts: inventing a false rule about the police being closed after 17:00 to justify inflexibility, and likely using informal practices like WhatsApp for document collection, which contravenes current data protection laws. Do not stay here!
