La Guinza is an agriturismo set in the relaxing countryside on the slopes of Monte Buceto at about 1000 m above sea level. The location is delightful, the typical Tuscan casolare structure is finished with a spotless pool and a large gazebo underneath where you can also eat. The apartment we booked was clean and welcoming, with a living‑kitchen area fully equipped. The apartment, Autunno, has 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, is cool and comfortable; arriving from the hot Florentine heat we found a paradise, sleeping with a light blanket. Windows with mosquito nets, a reserved outdoor table with umbrella and barbecue. Manola and Antonio, what can I say, special people who make you feel at home, we spent a lot of time chatting pleasantly with them, even sharing culinary tastings. Antonio raises cows and horses and organizes rides for guests who want that experience. Even though I’m over seventy, I decided to go on my first horseback ride with Antonio, a brilliant instructor, patient and courteous, reassuring; Marisa is a gentle and intelligent mare I will never forget. It’s a wonderful experience I recommend. Thanks to Manola and Antonio for giving us unexpected relaxation and contact with pleasant people.

A charming spot. Antonio and Manola (hosts) are very welcoming and attentive to every need of their guests. A beautiful experience with the horses.

We escaped the daily grind and found a true sanctuary; Antonio and Manola were flawless hosts, the pool was a decent size, the ping‑pong table was superb, and the apartment even came with a wood‑fired pizza oven. The real star for us was the horse riding—Antonio is an amazing instructor, confident with both his horses and us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the sport.

Antonio and Manola were two genuinely kind people who made our holiday wonderful; Antonio always suggested great day‑trips and shared endless historical anecdotes. The pool felt like a dream and the scenery was unique. The last two kilometres to the property were on gravel tracks, and the Tuscan hills were steeper than we’d expected, but our regular car managed fine. We can only highly recommend Agriturismo La Guinza.
