The whole property was spotlessly clean. Host Chris was very welcoming and helped with my gluten intolerance by providing gluten‑free sausages and nice gluten‑free bread. The butter was Kerrygold—best butter in the world! He gave us a great recommendation for dinner in Oughterard—Power's Thatch Pub. The BnB is in a lovely setting, very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature.

Das Anwesen ist wirklich relativ weit ab vom Schuss und vom Ortskern geht es eine Weile auf engen Straßen bis zum Ziel. Deshalb ist es gut, dass Frühstück angeboten wird. Man hat die Wahl zwischen Brot mit Belag / Aufstrich oder warmem Frühstück. Grundstück und Haus sind top gepflegt und alles ist blitzsauber. Der Gastgeber gibt sich redlich Mühe, alles zum Wohle seiner Gäste zu gestalten, und da haben wir absolut nichts zu meckern. In der Nähe kann man wandern und von hier aus ist es nicht weit nach Galway. Und auch unser Hund war willkommen. * The property really is quite off the beaten track, and from the town centre it’s a bit of a drive along narrow streets to get there. That’s why it’s good that breakfast is provided. You can choose between bread with toppings or spreads, or a warm breakfast. The grounds and the house are immaculately maintained and everything is spotless. The host goes to great lengths to ensure everything is just right for the guests, and we have absolutely no complaints. There are walking trails nearby, and it’s not far to Galway city. The best part of our trip was meeting Christian. He was so kind and took the time to give us suggestions for each day’s activities. He also helped me with a special project I had to complete while I was there. The breakfast options were many and the freshly prepared, made‑to‑order breakfast was out of this world! Everything in his home was spotless. He had many special touches that will always set his bed and breakfast apart from the others. We also enjoyed the town of Oughterard. It’s not too big and the services are plentiful. Nothing. It was literally perfect.

We were very warmly welcomed. The location is incredibly great, the room is very clean and the breakfast is tasty. The owner gave us some tips to make the most of the region. If you love nature, you should definitely visit this accommodation and explore the great area. We’ll come back again.
