Rio Quente Resorts - Eco Chalés

The Eco Chalés urgently need renovation; the room was moldy, the bathroom looked filthy and grimy, and the TV turned on but didn't load any channels. They left a phone in the room that wasn't even connected to call reception. The service was awful—the lady who attended us had no training, didn't even say hello, and didn't show any willingness to help with our requests. Breakfast was served at the lodge because the Eco Chalé restaurant was under renovation, so the coffee was excellent with many options, but we had to travel about 5 km to get it! Also, they should offer Coca‑Cola at the restaurants, not just Pepsi. The linens and towels also need improvement.

The check‑in staff were warm and quick, letting us hit the pools right away, which was great. The hotel sits in a lovely green space far from city noise, and driving in was straightforward. My room was large enough, with a good bed and clean linens, though it needed some upkeep. The bathroom had all the usual amenities and a decent shower. I only stayed for a short time, so that’s the only downside.

“Estadia tranquila; lugar repousante.”

Even though the facilities could use a bit of renovation, everything was very well organized overall; the bed and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but met our needs nicely. The property boasts beautiful green areas.

“O CHALÉ É UM LIXO”

The location offered peace, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was decent. The chalet was old, dirty, and tiny, with filthy, grimy floors and windows—no exaggeration, the floors and windows were filthy and grimy. There wasn’t even enough space to lay out a bikini, towel, or swimsuit; we and other guests had to stretch them on car hoods, which was embarrassing given the high price. It’s more a matter of overall renovation than cleaning; the chalet seems to have been built in the 70s and never painted. Also, the bathroom had a Corona shower. Pay a bit more and stay away from this place.
