The spot was right near the city center, which was a big plus. But the room was a mess – no cleaning, staff were kind of indifferent, and the breakfast was just awful. So, great location, but the rest left a bad taste.

We loved the location and the room was huge. The hot tub and free kayaks were a treat, and breakfast was tasty. On the flip side, we never got any check‑in or check‑out details, so we were standing outside calling for help. The so‑called “private” entrance was actually a shared path to the lake, and the place was messier than the photos – we couldn’t fish properly because of the clutter and there were giant Christmas decorations in July.

The welcome was super friendly, the breakfast was great, and the lakeside location made for easy walks nearby. The only downside was that some of the facilities feel a bit old‑school and could use an upgrade.

The view was stunning, right off the water, and the place was well curated – except for the Christmas decor that stuck around in May. The stairs were broken, so we couldn’t use the deck, hot tub, SUP, or kayaks, and that wasn’t mentioned at all. The TV was dead, so they moved us to another room and tried to charge extra. The owner never came down, saying he was too busy, and the stairs weren’t fixed the next day as promised.

The place looked nice, but the English was terrible, the conditions were bad, and it was so isolated you couldn’t find any hiking trails.
