The staff were friendly and the location was lovely, with a view of the canal and a bustling boat scene; breakfast was good.

The spot is spot on, right by the pier and the city’s main attraction, Praça de S. Marcos, with its historic buildings. The front‑desk crew were attentive and helpful, and the continental‑style breakfast on the rooftop covers the basics, but the view is stunning. The price, however, feels way too high.

The staff were professional and friendly, both at reception and on the rooftop, except for the checkout person. The location is perfect and the rooftop is really pleasant. For a hotel that costs so much, it’s a bit dated, especially the equipment—our room had two air‑conditioners, but the one that worked had no button. The décor feels a bit old‑fashioned. When we arrived, the room didn’t match the photos at all, but after talking to reception we got a much nicer one. The only downside, and we’re in Venice, is the smell that rises from the bathroom. Breakfast is decent but pricey; you’ll need to pay extra for eggs and other items.
