This place was super relaxing with really friendly people who went out of their way for us. The lodge was beautifully set up with spacious rooms and amazing food. The owner takes care of everything, from arranging safaris to making sure you have a great time in Bardiya National Park.

Our room was really spacious and part of a traditional Tharu house with a thatched roof, and the garden was lovely. The evening meals were delicious and simple, and we could hang out on a terrace with chairs. The mosquito nets were in great condition, which was a relief. That being said, there were some issues - no hot water in the bathroom, spotty WiFi, and some pretty old equipment that needed attention.

I had a great time staying here, it's a really rustic place that feels like a jungle safari experience. I loved the Jeep and walking safaris, and the owner's son Ari was super helpful with his excellent English. The whole family was really friendly and made us feel welcome, but there's definitely room for improvement in some areas.

I liked our room, it was nice and spacious, and the garden and common areas were great. But, it's really out of the way, and I wasn't crazy about the price and quality of the food, which was almost mandatory. The tour prices also seemed high compared to what you get.
