The manager was very helpful, but there was no staff on site. The pin code for the door didn’t work, so we had to rely on other French travellers to get in. It wasn’t obvious that nobody was at the property and the call button didn’t answer. The manager also runs the main bar in town, and we managed everything there, but this should be made clearer. The kitchen facilities and attached café were closed.

The location was fine for our one‑night stop while driving through, and the free parking outside was safe. The place was clean and quiet, so we got a good sleep and shower, but there was no hot water at all, and the restaurant/food facilities we expected after a long drive were missing. We had to deal with cold showers, and the café/restaurant was closed for holidays, which we were told upon arrival; it didn’t feel welcoming at all.

The site, the cleanliness, the general facilities, the lockable wardrobes, the toilets and showers, and especially the ability to bring your bike inside were all great. A few other things too.
