The bed was comfortable, the shower was very pretty, and the terrace offered a nice sea view. The beach in front had litter, and the chalet’s sound insulation was lacking.

The café staff was very nice. However, there were fleas in the bed—several! We left after about 5 hours to find another place.

The bar/restaurant space right next to the beach was perfect for combining kite sessions with reading moments.

I stayed in the shared dorm and it was surprisingly cozy and comfortable for that kind of lodging. The place was spotless, the staff were super friendly, the food tasted great, and the host was just amazing! The kitesurfing spot is ideal—step out of the house and you’re already at the lagoon 😍

Sun, the owner, was very hands‑on and looked after us in every way. For 500,000 dongs for the two of us, we joined him and his family on a trip to the national park waterfalls, which included a tasty Vietnamese picnic lunch of chicken, pork, and fresh fruits and vegetables, plus drinks. The bungalow had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. The private bathroom is connected to the bungalow but is outside, so mosquitoes were an issue; there is a bed mosquito netting for the bed. The room was cleaned daily and we were greeted with fresh oranges. The food was good, around 70 and up for basic dishes—more expensive than local food, but there’s nothing else nearby, so it’s basically the only option. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and were happy! Sun brought a delicious lemongrass local small clams dish on the house—it was so good. Sun has thought of everything for his guests. He’s a great guy and I’m sure you’ll be happy there. FYI, the electric power was out all Saturday; I don’t know if that always happens, but it was for our stay. My son came to go kitesurfing and managed to squeeze about an hour of kiting during the two days and two nights we were there because of the rain and low tide, and he had to do the walk of shame since the wind wasn’t good enough to kite back upwind while he was out on the water. The water is very shallow for a long way out, so you have to walk a long way to kitesurf. There is a lot of coral that will hurt you if you land on your back. He kited on Nov 1, 25. Sun said the best month is February. If you have the right conditions, it’s sure to be a fantastic place to be!
