“Just ok for a night”

The check‑in and breakfast were held in a restaurant across the street, which made for a surprisingly smooth experience and the staff were very kind during both the arrival and breakfast. However, the room carried a faint smoking smell, and because it sits beside a busy main road, the summer noise is noticeable when the windows are open and no air‑conditioning is used; the beds were mediocre, just enough for a single night. Parking on the street is paid, and finding an available spot is a challenge.

The mattress was very poor, the pillows even worse, there was some traffic noise, and the breakfast was quite limited.

The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was good; the hotel was flexible with check‑out and breakfast times, and the check‑in/out at the neighboring hotel “Löwen” worked perfectly.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the tram was only a 2‑minute walk away, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good – everything you need. Unfortunately, we couldn’t receive standard TV programming and the internet connection sometimes dropped.
