The wifi didn’t even reach the tent, there was no shower—just a hose that couldn’t adjust temperature, no toilet paper, only the same hose with no water pressure for cleaning, a lot of rules, many mosquitoes, and the “futon” was just an uncomfortable lounge chair mat.

Walking 40 minutes from the harbor, we could rent bikes and were greeted with all the service info Gwen offered. We couldn’t use the kitchen to cook, but Gwen and Ari let us store and reheat our food.

The spot works well, and the bus runs nicely to the city or back to the lodging. The tent was advertised as new, yet it was clear it had been used many times. On our last night, rain made the tent leak, soaking the mattresses. The mattresses were just beach chairs, not very comfy when placed directly on coral ground. When we reported this the next day, the owner simply said, “Oh, strange, I’ll look when you’re gone.” No compensation, no offer to help us reach the city for the ferry, not even a simple “sorry.” It’s a shame because the setting is nice, but given the price and conditions, we were very disappointed. Also beware the mosquitoes; the lodging is near a swamp, so they’re plenty.

I had a fantastic stay at B & Bee Wild Island – Nature Song! The location is perfect, right next to the airport, which is super convenient on arrival. Bikes are available to explore the area, breakfast is included, and Gwen also arranges shuttles, making the trip easy and enjoyable. Most of all, I loved exploring the island with him and Harry. Gwen also offers land tours with fascinating explanations. You can feel his love for the island and his passion for sharing knowledge. I had a great time with them and highly recommend this place! Nothing stood out as problematic; everything went smoothly. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt very welcome.
