“A Nature Reset”

We found our stay at the Sanctuary to be truly divine, exactly what we had hoped for—a complete nervous system reset surrounded by nature. The place was quiet, peaceful, calming, and aesthetically beautiful, letting us sit, relax, and soak up the energy in total privacy, while also feeling incredibly romantic. The décor was tasteful, the rooms comfortable, and the little touches made it feel homely. It was clean, modern, spacious, and every amenity was thoughtfully provided. The surrounding area is a delight to wander, with a rainforest, duck ponds, a waterfall, and a fire pit, inviting us to slow down, reconnect with nature, and simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We would highly recommend the Sanctuary to anyone wanting to escape the busyness and overstimulation of everyday life and return to themselves and nature. Lee is an absolutely beautiful soul—accommodating, generous, and kind. The whole property radiates warmth, and you can truly feel the honor and pride poured into its creation and upkeep. Highly recommended.

“Could have been better facilities for the price paid.”

The rainforest was a highlight, but the neighbours were really loud, the cabin was not that clean, and the roof was leaking. There was no internet and no TV.

The host welcomed us and checked that everything was fine after check‑in, even offering to drive us to town for dinner; overall the ambience, facilities, and the host were exceptional. However, there was a power interruption during our stay and they had to turn on the generator.

“Excellent”

The host really came through when things got messy with the booking agent - double booking was a hassle, but they sorted it out quickly. No issues with the place itself, just glad the host was on top of things.
