Right across from the beach, the room was clean and I received useful restaurant tips. The beach is closed to swimmers and reserved only for surfers, which is good to know though it’s not part of the hotel.

The homestay is just a short walk to the beach, the location is fantastic and super convenient! Even though I had no surfing experience, I could sign up for a lesson and the instructor was very thorough, so the kids got the hang of it quickly and had a blast!

I stayed again at Wushigang North Embankment Homestay, the pace was slow and relaxed, perfect for surfers. I came mainly for surfing, and after catching waves I could rest right at the homestay without extra travel time, which was really convenient for the surfing schedule. After enough rest, I could leisurely head to the beach the next morning, then slowly pack and prepare to leave. The whole trip didn’t feel rushed, I could surf whenever I wanted, and when tired I’d return to the homestay to rest, adding a sense of ease and calm to the journey. I love this laid‑back lodging rhythm and will definitely come back if I have the chance.
