The little game during the National Day holiday was fun, and the staff were very enthusiastic ❤️ The renovated Old House is even better, constantly improving the guests’ space, and the Old House really cares about it. Breakfast was also delicious.

Attention to detail was everywhere. The large bath was comfortable. Lockers and baskets were assigned numbers, and there were towel hooks in the bath where you could hang your towel at your assigned spot, so no mix‑ups. The in‑room bath uses hot spring water, just like a Japanese bath. There is a marble soaking area next to the wash area. Dinner was a buffet; the variety and quality were surprising—shrimp, crab, sashimi all unlimited, and ice cream unlimited. I was very full. The hotel grounds have rabbits and birds, black swans in the pond, and monkeys come to eat fruit from the palm trees. They run away when people look at them, but it’s fine. I don’t speak much Japanese. It would have been helpful to have a paper with meal times, bath times, and the essentials at the hotel’s front desk.
