“Ottima sistemazione nelle vicinanze di Matera, consigliatissimo!”

The location was good, close to Montescaglioso’s center and not far from Matera. The host, Raffaello, and his family were super courteous and ready to help—hard to find such generous people for guests. The breakfast offered was good and varied (more on the sweet side). The only drawback for us was the lack of a bidet in the room; foreigners might not notice, but our hygiene habits made us hesitate to give the property a perfect score. There isn’t even a shower next to the toilet, so you’re forced to use the shower to wash. Occasionally the Wi‑Fi had some hiccups, but overall it was fine.

The location was good. The breakfast and bedding were not up to par.

Thanks to the friendly and polite host, we were able to park our car without trouble despite the narrow, one‑way streets. The location was very good—close to various local restaurants and pizzerias. The room we had was large and spacious. Breakfast was tasty, and we could try homemade pastries.

“Esperienza super piacevole”

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like—from the property itself, its almost central location, to the very friendly and accommodating owner. Special thanks to his sister for the delicious cakes she brought every morning for breakfast.
