The spot was convenient. The nightclub next door has no shade on the upper deck.

The owner was very considerate. I stayed in a large room on the terrace with good bedding and strong hot‑water pressure. The bar next to the property gets loud on weekends, but the owner has scheduled work to cut down the noise.

The location was spot‑on, close to shops, bars and restaurants. My room was roomy, clean, and comfy, and there were useful extras like a free water fountain and places to hang clothes after a day at the beach. The local noise—roosters, barking dogs, and a late‑night bar—was as described, so ear plugs help if you’re a light sleeper. Hot water was a bit spotty, and I never ran into anyone who seemed to work there—though Mazunte is pretty informal and relaxed anyway.

I loved everything about this place – the WiFi was great, the room was big, the bathroom was nice, and the location was perfect.
