Everything was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and the hotel was well managed; nothing was wrong, maybe the price was a bit high.

The staff, room, and comfort were great, though the location is far from the historic site, it works if you prefer a quiet area.

We traveled as two women in our 50s, and the hotel had strict security measures—everything was scanned like an airport—but once inside I didn’t feel safe as a woman; shortly before midnight there was loud knocking on our door four times by different people passing by, calling for the ladies to come out of their room, and my friend was asleep and heard nothing while I stayed quiet in bed; the next morning we reported the incident to reception, the security cameras confirmed what happened, the hotel apologized, gave us a small gift, and offered a partial refund, yet the feeling of insecurity remained; I slept in a bed whose sheets smelled strongly of cigarette smoke; the food was varied but not tasty; the hotel itself is large, beautiful, and impressively decorated, with fresh flowers throughout, but those were the only real highlights of our stay. Food, safety, and cleanliness were all lacking, and I’m sure they don’t change the cheat after a customer has left if it looks clean they keep it that way.
