The location was peaceful, the pod was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the property is very dog‑friendly with two large fields for off‑lead play and a dog‑wash area. The lake is quiet and good for fishing. It would help to have a kettle and tea or coffee sachets in the pod, and while the toilet and washing blocks were clean, the bowls themselves could use bleach or a similar cleaner. The shower heads offered a weak spray, likely needing replacement.
