“Awesome”
Everything was perfect—location, amenities, and staff were amazing, though the breakfast could have been better.

The place was well situated, but the rugs on the floor were dirty and old.

I loved the property and the view was great, yet the mattress was very hard and the sheets felt rough.

They don't disclose parking fees and oversold the oceanfront rooms, refusing to refund the rate difference.

The restaurant staff, except for the breakfast crew, were friendly and helpful and the food was good; I ate there often. The pool was smaller than I expected but still great, and the lazy river was the best feature. I enjoyed the view from the restaurants, the pool, and the bay view from my room, and appreciated the beauty of the white sand beach and clear water. I also liked the food at the other restaurant and being able to eat outdoors. The place was clean. I was annoyed when I checked in and told the front desk I had no vehicle, yet they charged my card 150.00 for incidentals, claiming I would get it back. When I checked out I was charged 80.00 for parking even though I again said I had no car; they removed the charge but it was still frustrating. I did not receive fresh towels on the third day I stayed, and the breakfast was not very good—the eggs were awful. There was no Keurig coffee machine in the room and I didn't like the coffee they offered; they didn't open until 7 so I missed coffee for hours as an early riser. I probably wouldn't stay again. The pool, though smaller than I thought, was still really great and the lazy river was fantastic. The beach was nice but had rough waters. I spent most of my time in the pool. The shower outside by the pool to rinse off sand was broken, and the hot tub didn't work—no bubbles, just hot water. When I mentioned this to the dessert parlor, they said they'd tell someone but nothing happened, which felt like nobody cared about the client. The bed was much harder than I expected for the price; Hampton Inn has softer beds. The pool was a disappointment compared to the picture. The front desk wasn't friendly. The restaurant staff, except for the breakfast crew, were friendly and helpful and the food was good. The body wash was empty and they only gave one small bar of soap. I spent over 800 dollars for 3 nights and it was overpriced. My room was never cleaned or vacuumed; sand was everywhere on the floor. My bed was not changed at all, and I only got new towels on two days. For the price this was unacceptable. I can see this in a cheaper hotel, but this was supposed to be more upscale. I think they cut corners too much and don't seem to focus on customers.
