I felt warmly welcomed at this family homestay, even though it was just for one night; the hosts took great care of us throughout. The food was excellent, they helped me get a guide’s contact number (who didn’t speak English) and rented a scooter so we could visit the reserve early in the morning. They also arranged a bus transfer to Hanoi quickly and effortlessly. I would have loved to stay longer!

The atmosphere was family‑friendly, the breakfast was very good, the dinner was quite decent (I don’t think there are better restaurants in the area), and they had various thoughtful touches for us, like offering a better room, bringing fruit upon arrival, lemon juice, and a free bicycle. They were very kind and approachable; I recommend them.

The homestay is run by a husband and wife together with her mother, who greeted me with a delicious tea. The place is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Breakfast is amazing and generous. They also helped me book a taxi and a bus to Cat Ba Island at a very affordable price. Thank you so much for everything ☺️ You are truly special people.

Hiep and Ngan, our beautiful hosts! This was my second stay with them this year, and I plan to visit again in a couple of weeks. I had booked dinner for the night of my arrival but arrived two hours late, so Ngan prepared a makeshift dinner for me. All meals are incredible. It’s a family affair and you get to know everyone. Their daughter is too cute and personable. They have scooters, or you can ride your own back into town—it’s beautiful!

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the homestay sits on a quiet little street that makes it feel very peaceful. Every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was lavish and delicious, with a traditional Vietnamese dish served each time. Free bicycles were available for use. Nothing to complain about.
