“We enjoyed our stay at the Social Hub.”
Social Hub is ideally located near all transportation (train, bus, tram, taxi), stores, restaurants, and the historic part of Delft. It’s competitively priced and includes a café, laundry facilities, gym, game area, and great staff. The room is quiet and the bed is very comfortable! The only downside is that the bathroom has only two towel hooks, so we had to use a couple of adhesive hooks of our own.
“Zentrumnahes Hotel mit geräumigen Apartments, freundlichem Personal und guter Verkehrsanbindung”
The place sits very well, just a few minutes on foot from the centre, and public transport is excellent. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, the windows can’t be opened, there’s no wardrobe, and the cutlery and crockery could have been more plentiful.
“Desagradada com a falta de limpeza. Mesmo nos corredores dos quartos.”
Breakfast was decent but could use better presentation and organisation. The bread quality could be fresher, and there are never enough small spoons. The coffee machine lacks espresso cups, and the ceramic cups are chipped and in poor condition, which is unacceptable for the price. Cleaning only once a week is outrageous: we had trash piling up, dirty towels for days, and no place to put them except the floor. Staff shortages are obvious. Even after a week, the room wasn’t cleaned. I arrived at 16:00 and the room was still dirty. If daily cleaning isn’t possible, at least collect the trash and change towels every three days. I asked for fresh towels, got them at reception, but no one ever picked up the dirty ones. The housekeeping service is badly organised. Pillow cases and sheets should be changed every three days, especially in hot weather – I can’t sleep in damp sheets all day!
The location is great, right in the centre of Delft, and getting around is a breeze with trains, trams and buses nearby. The rooms feel fresh, and I liked having access to a gym, laundry and the option to borrow a bike from the hotel.
The whole staff – reception, cleaning and waiters – were very kind. The rooms aren’t cleaned daily, but if you ask, they’ll do a thorough job.
