The hotel sits close to the city center and is easily reachable on foot to the main promenade. The mattress was good, the blackout curtains decent, there was a fridge, balcony, a well‑equipped minibar, a kettle in the room for coffee, tea, and a complimentary prosecco; single‑use slippers and robes were also provided, though I’m not sure why. I didn’t notice the wellness area, but it was nice. The bar under the rooms is great with good prices, and we didn’t have to pay extra for our small dog. The main issue is that the hotel is essentially a bar, which is the main feature, and it’s a small pension. The B&B label isn’t clearly visible at the entrance, which is covered by a roofed terrace. Upon arrival, we carefully parked in a narrow spot guided by GPS, unloaded our luggage, and struggled to find the entrance. The bartender appeared and, instead of helping, sent us to park our car in the neighboring hotel in the same building. We then had to move the car into that second hotel, where they told us we were part of that arrangement. So we had to park on a fairly busy road, in tight spaces where it’s hard to maneuver a larger car without a second person’s help, even with parking cameras and sensors. The parking arrangement was secured for the whole day. Breakfast could have been better: fresh pastries, croissants, brioche, cakes, and local cheese, sausage, and ham varieties. The next day those varieties were missing entirely, and the pastry selection was limited. When we left, the same bartender (who had helped us with the parking) took those varieties from the fridge on a few plates—about half an hour after breakfast. The accommodation is close to the main, busy road, so noise penetrates even through closed windows, and the shower area is small.
