It was very close to the hot springs. The room was tiny, had no TV, the bathroom door was plastic and the handle was loose, the bathroom itself was tiny and the divider was a curtain. I think in the town there are better options for the same price.

Authenticity, beautiful view of nature and proximity to the thermal baths. The staff were friendly and the hospitality included an unintended late check‑out because our morning walk ran longer than planned and we forgot to take our stuff out of the rooms; many thanks for that! The rooms are small and have little luggage space. Fine if you travel with a small backpack, but with two large suitcases for a two‑week trip it's a bit tight. The authentic Colombian style makes up for it.

It’s a quiet, peaceful spot with a river nearby (all hostels are by the river, but that didn’t bother me). I slept well; a single room was fine, a double was a bit tight but still cozy. The staff were friendly and calm, matching the vibe of the place. It’s a 5‑minute walk from the entrance of the Santa Rosa del Cabal thermal baths, which stay open all day until 11 pm. The road is under construction for paving; from 9 am to 1 pm it’s closed to cars but open to pedestrians. The baths open in the morning, contrary to what the town says about being closed until 1 pm.
