“Comfortable, stylish and well-located hotel with lovely staff”
The central spot was perfect for walking to the main sights and there were many great cafés and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was large, bright, and very comfortable, with a nice balcony to relax on, and the breakfast was excellent.
“Not a good value”
The location was good and the hotel was clean, but it was overpriced for what you received. On the first day, there was no staff at breakfast until they finally arrived, which I didn’t like. When I checked out, I was charged $52 US for a large bottle of water, some laundry, and a taxi to the airport, even though the taxi cost only $20.
“Would stay again.”
The hotel has real character, more than most places I’ve seen. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast great. Our room was spacious and the bed was excellent.
“ヴィエンチャン旅行だけではなく、ホテルで良い時間を過ごせてリラックスできた。”
The night market along the Mekong, the street‑food alley, Wat Hor Pakeo and the Si Saket temple were all within walking distance, making the location unbeatable; although the hotel is old, its stylish French‑era décor in the rooms and public areas impressed my girlfriend so much she said she’d love to stay there herself. Breakfast let us pick several items and served them fresh – the porridge on day 1 was steaming hot, richly flavored and excellent, which I prefer over a buffet. On the downside, you should know that the windows aren’t sash types, so you’ll need to manage noise and temperature yourself, and the bathtub’s faucet can only be reached from inside the tub, making temperature adjustments tricky – at 180 cm I couldn’t get in, but I managed to reach the tap. The stay more than made up for these quirks, though anyone bothered by such inconveniences should think it over.
“A very cozy hotel at the heart of Vientiane”
A great place at the center point of Vientiane. The rooms are huge and spacious, The hotel decor looks old, like an old luxury hotel that is very well kept. The quality of services and breakfast are top notch. The place is not new and that's part of the charm of the place. But if you are looking for the most modern facilities and design, this place is probably not for you. But everything is clean very well maintained, so it's only a matter of style
