Breakfast was very simple, but on request there was cheese.

The location is good. The establishment and room were decorated in a chaotic, old‑fashioned, dusty style.

The hotel is small with a handful of unique rooms; we got the contemporary loft, huge with great views and lots of art, right in front of the castle. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly.

We managed to get in thanks to a sympathetic friend who let us charge our phone, so we could look for another place. We paid €136.50 through Booking, received a confirmation, but then the hotel sent a message saying the room had already been rented to someone else and that we would get a refund from Booking. That refund hasn’t arrived yet, a month later, and a reminder email didn’t help; filing a complaint with Booking is tough. We’re left with a bad rating, even though the location seems nice, central, and the interior cozy.
