“Bad abgenutzt, Küche schmutzig, Bett sehr weich, für 3 Nächte auszuhalten, Balkonstühle wären schön”
The view from the room onto the mountains was great, but there was a lot of traffic, even at night with street sweepers and the like, which was quite loud.
“Nous avons juste passé une nuit”
It’s okay. I already struggled to locate the spot, and the instructions for key hand‑over and the expected floor were vague. The building’s exterior looks uninviting and quite rundown, yet the room itself is quiet with decent bedding.
“Ok pour une nuit de transit”
The location is central. There’s no private bathroom, it’s rather old, and there’s a smell, but at least the shared toilet (used with two other rooms) is separated from the single bathroom.
“une nuit d horreur”
I can’t even imagine how Booking could approve such a place; it’s absolutely unacceptable for a site of that reputation. The accommodation feels ancient, dirty, and there was never any mention that it had a permanent tenant.
“Moisissure au mur !!!”
Not much to say… It’s not far from the city center. First, every email starts with a warning to discourage early arrivals, which is a minor detail. Finding the keys without assistance is a real challenge (luckily a friendly old man seems willing to help lost tourists). The real issue is the property itself: it feels like a 1890s relic—old and poorly maintained. When it comes to cleanliness, the wallpaper in my room is peeling off due to visible mold. It’s unacceptable to rent a room in that condition. The cleaning that should have been done before arrival was almost nonexistent, and the bathroom is in disarray, especially the bathtub that’s clearly past its prime. One guest even had to turn on the water heater themselves to get hot water. Finally, there’s no insulation: you can hear both your neighboring rooms and the street.
