Friendly, helpful staff. The onsite onsen was a special perk. The bed matts were not comfortable, but once we asked for additional mattresses the problem was solved. Also, the heater in the gear drying room was powered by gas, so all of our gear smelled of gas in the morning

The Onsen’s were very nice. Lived the outside spa in particular, watching the snow fall and seeing the stars etc. Room was quite run down. The Japanese beds were so uncomfortable
