Chomjan Resort sits just 5 m from Ko Phayam’s white sand, offering garden‑ and sea‑view bungalows with balconies, fans, and open‑air bathrooms. Guests enjoy on‑site massages, free Wi‑Fi in lobby and dining, and a Thai‑European menu at the resort restaurant. The property is a 5‑minute drive to Koh Payam Pier, 10 minutes to the temple, and 15 to Ao Yai.

The staff, the beach, and the location were all great, but there are better options at this price. The pillows were moldy and clearly need replacing, and the cabin was infested with insects and cockroaches.

The family was very friendly, the location is the best beach on the island (just a short walk from the hippie bar), the dogs were adorable, and both breakfast and the restaurant were tasty. The entire property is well kept and dreamy, with two tables in the restaurant offering perfect sea and sunset views. The only downsides were the lack of storage for clothes, a gap in the door that let mosquitoes in, loud dog barking at night from the beach as they defended their property, occasional sewage smell on the terrace (Villa), and the scooter was old and weak—better to rent one at the harbor.
