I couldn’t even get a coffee for breakfast because the owner politely kicked us out of the property at about 23.30. Never again with a host like that. The owner and his wife were utterly rude.

The owners’ reception was friendly, even late at night due to my delayed flight, and the location was good. However, there were a lot of stairs, the bathroom was outside the room, and accessing one of the locks was difficult; it wouldn’t open and I had to call late at night until they opened it for me.

The staff were friendly, the air conditioning and mini‑bar were excellent, and the bathroom was huge. It’s only 300 m from both the historic centre and the modern centre.

“Ottima sistemazione in cui ritornerei volentieri”

The property is in a very convenient spot for exploring the historic centre and is also easy to reach the main station via the nearby Piazza Mancini buses or the Calabrian railway, which isn’t always running. The room had everything needed, was spacious, had a comfortable bed, wardrobe, and air conditioning. The kitchenette with microwave, coffee machine, and fridge was also handy. The owner was very accommodating and greeted me immediately upon arrival, even though I was early compared to the scheduled time. The only issue is the steep stairs; my room was on the top floor. It wasn’t a problem for me, but if you have mobility issues, ask the owner for a ground‑floor room.

“Good place to stay”

Everything was clean and the room was a good size. I had problems with the wifi, and when I arrive somewhere I hate having to wait for someone to show up.
