I didn’t like anything about the property. It looked nothing like the pictures, was filthy, and hadn’t been cleaned before I arrived. The bedding wasn’t washed and smelled like someone had just woken up from the bed; the pillows were moldy with brown stains, and the room stank of mould. The bathroom was very nasty, with grime and scum everywhere, and the toilet had grease. Construction work was not disclosed beforehand and started at 8 am. Small bugs and ants were everywhere. The place looked nothing like the pictures and was more like a hostel than a villa. I had to cancel after one night because I couldn’t stay any longer. If I could add more pictures of how I found the place, I would, because there’s more.

The room was spacious with a big cabinet, enough for my family of four. Breakfast was tasty and complete, with nasi goreng, fried noodles, fruit slices, and fresh watermelon juice for each of us. The bed was comfy, though the day bed quality was not great. I regret not checking the access details beforehand; the road from the main road is very narrow, only fits one car, and if a car is in front you or they have to step back. The villa’s approach is terrible—just dirt that turns to mud after rain. Parking is small, can fit up to three cars but is hard to exit; a motorbike would avoid this problem. I expected a quiet setting in the rice fields, but a construction site was right beside the villa when we arrived, and they didn’t inform me. We booked for three days, two nights, so I lost money on the second night. The next morning there were loud construction noises—hammering, saws, drilling. Our room was just next to the construction. The sheer curtains have holes everywhere on all windows and doors. The towel hanger is a safety hazard—the screw came loose. The shower also lacks a screw on the pipe, which worries me with a toddler. The pool isn’t as big as in the photo, just enough for kids to play. If the road access isn’t improved, the broken facilities aren’t fixed, and construction continues, think twice before staying.

Everything was super nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and the cats are a plus point 😍. The location was a bit off from Ubud, but with a scooter everything works out fine.

The room was big and spacious, and the staff were friendly. The property sits in a secluded spot surrounded by rice fields, so you’ll need a motorbike to get around. A few decent restaurants are nearby, like Simple Kopi, which is cheap and serves good food. I honestly have nothing to complain about for the cheap price I paid.
