“Consiglio ottima cucina e accoglienza”
The welcome and cleanliness were good, but the pool comfort could be better – add loungers and umbrellas for more relaxation.

The sweet “nonnina” and the shower were nice, and the pool view was promised, but the stay felt cheap for €90 a night; the ceiling was so low it became a hazard for anyone taller than 1.70 m, the air‑conditioning (or rather “PINGUINO”) barely worked because the hose was broken, and we even needed permission to use the fridge; the “in‑house” pool was actually on another site reachable only by car and still a construction zone, unsafe for kids or pets, and it was chlorinated at 9:00 am without warning, making it unusable when a child would want to swim, yet staff dismissed our complaints by calling the pool a “gift”; the reception staff behaved unprofessionally and even accused us in front of other guests of stealing soaps when we checked out. The whole experience didn’t match the listing or the price paid.

The view of the Calabrian countryside, the welcome from Atanasio and his parents Giuseppe and Maria, Albanian descendants, were great; we had interesting chats despite the language barrier over a delicious dinner Maria made with farm produce, and we could buy their high‑quality organic products: olive oil, honey, wine, figs, jam, and various limoncello crafted with passion by Giuseppe, who is still studying the best blends and is creating a digestif from his own grapes.

I felt like family, was warmly welcomed, received great generosity, the place was quiet in nature, and the meals were delicious.

The staff were friendly and eager to please, but I would have liked to know the dinner and breakfast prices when I arrived; the entrance and exit are on a slightly sloped path.
