The place is quiet, tranquil, and in a great spot right by the beach, yet the reception closes early and there are only a few local options.

The location is good and the staff friendly; we found the cats very cozy and cute, but getting in and out of the pool is a bit complicated.

The property is welcoming, fully equipped, and in an excellent spot just 100 m from one of the island’s best beaches (at least for me); the French owners are very kind and help book scooters and other services, and nearby you’ll find typical restaurants, a bank, and a pharmacy. The room can be a little noisy at night because of the air‑conditioning and the mini‑fridge, which might bother light sleepers.

“Comodo soggiorno in bungalow per chi cerca privacy e tranquillità a Maenam”

The property is beautiful and the common areas (pool and reception) are well kept and very private; Maenam beach is only a few minutes’ walk away, making it a good choice for anyone looking for a basic bungalow in that part of the island. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that left us disappointed: the bungalow we received was somewhat dated and basic in detail (for example, the bathroom door handle was missing a piece and the lock was rusty). The bathroom was not fully connected to the room (it opens into the upper walls), so every use of the bathroom felt like a “battle” with mosquitoes. Frankly, it would have been nice to relax without always having the anti‑mosquito spray in hand, even in the room. All other nightlife spots are a bit far, and if you don’t rent a motorbike you’ll have to spend at least 12/15 € for a taxi each way.

The owners/management couple are very friendly, but the pool ladder is slippery because of the tiles.
