“goede locatie”
A hearty breakfast, friendly staff, easy to reach. Nothing to complain about.

Thirteen years ago, when the building was new, it was beautiful and it still looks decent, although after 13 years many parts seem loose or broken and unrepaired; still, the hotel is nice with very friendly staff, two lifts, a nice pool, a large breakfast buffet, and it’s within walking distance of Toko Oen and the old town, with a becak right outside for anyone who wants to try it. The surrounding area has deteriorated – not unsafe but looking shabby, though most guests arrive by car or taxi; overdue maintenance hurts the hotel’s image, and at the pool you need to watch out for protruding screws on the decking – wear slippers. The food is pricey, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

“Fijn hotel”
We only spent one night because we had to move on, yet the hotel was pleasant and they even gave us a breakfast package since we had to leave so early.

We enjoyed the friendly, helpful staff and their service. They especially referred us to a great private driver who got us to Jepara on time for a fast boat. The pool area was also very nice.
